Dr. Joseph M. McKean, LCSW, PhD is a Psychotherapist with 31 years of professional experience in hospital and outpatient settings. He is affiliated with Intermountain Healthcare and maintains his private practice here with us at Hive Therapy. He is an avid exercise enthusiast and saw the opportunity to provide his counseling services at Hive Therapy to help us in our mission to bridge the gap between exercise and healthcare. Dr. McKean understands that a healthy body and a healthy mind work together to achieve success in overall wellness and he is excited to be offering his counseling services at Hive Therapy. He provides pre-surgical psychosocial evaluations for patients needing spinal cord stimulators, pain pumps and other surgical procedures. He also provides assessments and therapy for depression, anxiety and other mental health challenges of life that hold us back from being our best selves.
